whent out last night fairly late 12.30-1.00 got in to manchester center and within minites was pulled over the copper did the unusual things checked the bike over and then the pen down the end can well that was it i was there for over an hour trying to tell him it was a 2 stroke and the baffles arnt in the end can but i think i lost him when he said "its a big mini moto my mates son has one of these " after an hour of him not knowing is elbow from his arse two other coppers showed up lucky for me one said he used to race a rs125,s and told his mate that my bike was road legal
and i was sent on my way the thing that pisses me off is not that i was there for an hour but the fact these people are payed to know this simple stuff Evil or Very Mad

I'd be straight round the cop shop to complain that their officers are not sufficiently trained to do the job we're paying them for.

Checking for baffle or spark arrester.

With most bikes I would think you have to go allot deeper than a pen to find a baffle. In fact I don't think most bikes have baffles, except maybe newer ones. I really don't think this is a valid test of anything.
