New genuine Honda pistons, rings, little end bearings, gaskets and powervalve seals fitted in June 2006 – covered 1000 miles since (new clutch cover gasket fitted at same time)
New genuine Honda inlet manifold rubbers fitted in April 2006 (cost almost £100)
Always run on fully synthetic oil
New genuine Honda fork seals & fresh fork oil fitted in Aug 2006
New one-off stainless steel gearchange linkage rod
In tidy condiition for age. Has a few knocks and scratches here and there on the bodywork. Runs really well, very quick and great fun.
Spare seat unit included in sale.
Spare freshly powder-coated rear wheel included in sale
Bad points: needs new speedo cable (stopped working about 300 miles ago because I kinked cable, needs new lock for rear seat, rear indicators not working. These are all minor jobs, but I haven't the time at present to tackle them.
MC18s are getting rare now, especially in standard, complete condition. If I had the storage space I'd keep it, but I haven't so she's got to go.
