Took the bike out today and the weirdest thing was happening. As I accelerate in any gear from 5000-7500 rpm, the bike seems like it has the hiccups and won't really accelerate. I have to turn the throttle a bit more aggressive and get it to about 7700 rpms and then its fine. theres a little popping noise everytime I accelerate throught that rpm range.
Anyone ever experienced this before?
Any ideas what the problem could be?
I take it you've not experienced this before? Did you change anything since you last rode it? When did you last ride it? _________________ MC21SP Plaything

The real question, is what the hell you were doing all the way down there? NSR's should be ridden above 8000!! _________________ MC21SP Plaything

No, not if you're running forced air induction with a drilled lid. Works a treat as the cooler air is more dense despite being sparse. The ram effect is maximised at altitude naturally, and use of HRC (high revving contraption) stuffers can also prevent hypoxia when really going for it... _________________ MC21SP Plaything

right! thats it then. its out with the dremel, turn round the scot russel lid spoiler. not got the HRC stuffers. but i can get away with those things with wings the wife goes on about. all thats left to do is look through my box of assorted power bands to find the biggest one. and its off to the local hump back bridge. anyone know what tyre pressure i should run?
Ooh, that's a tricky one. wets or slicks? _________________ MC21SP Plaything
