Aluminium Cleaning

Anyone know of any lotions or potions for cleaning stained aluminium i.e
swinging arm. I've tried autosol & other metal polish but no good. Sad

if you had all bearings off and swing arm off the bike then vapourblasting them would bring them up like new.

autosol will work but you have to use some elbow grease also Laughing

Try scotchbrite with wd40 or brillo pads, rub backwards and forwards rather than randomly and it will give you a nice even grained satin look just like it came from the factory.
Leave the autosolve for the harley and Triumph boys!

you have got to rub with the grain of the metal if you go all over with it you will not get the heat in it to put a finish on it you just end up with a sore arm Wink
