Cylinder height ?

Sun Dec 17, 2006 1:56 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

What is the service limit height for a cylinder ?

If its too short, can I use two bottom gaskets or must I have a suitable HRC gasket ?

the bore will normally never wear down , because it can be cromed but its irritating that the workshop takes off material when cleaning the top and bottom faces.

I'm going to guess there isn't one as Honda won't approve of replating at all much less rubbish platers who take actual material off the deck itself, std 21 & 28 barrel heights are;
R barrel 86.3
SP barrel 86.5
