Girl needs help!!!

Wed Jan 24, 2007 9:17 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hey everyone I'm new here today. My boyfriend had a 92 Nsr 250, that was until he accidentally wrote it off. Now it's been sitting under the house for 3 years and I'm thinking there still may be money to be made on it. It's a sore spot for him so he won't talk to me about it. I wanted to know if anyone could inform me on how you find out if it's MC-21. MC-18?? I've been doing as much research as I can and havn't come up with much - I'm alot better with cars!!! So does anyone know what the tank would be worth - it's still in perfect condition - surprisingly enough!! And I've still got the gauges and a few other things - any sort of help would really be appreciated. Thanks guys Smile

If it got a 17" rear wheel is more likely to be a 21.
The 21 has also got a gull arm, so if the arm holding the rear wheel is straight both sides its an 18 If its bent on the right hand side its a 21.
Unless the prang it had was that bad it bent the swinging arm Shocked
I may be a bit thick here Embarassed but where is QLD? that may help with pricing parts.

that kind of attitude just turned all the sympathy and support back to you Wink

Can't you have it repaired and ride it yourself , that'll teach him Cool

Yes QLD is Queensland, Australia. My partner and I have just made my MC-18 roadworthy and coming across parts such as gear lever, foot pegs and mount, etc was really difficult. You should be able to sell your parts easily, you could try City Motorcycle Wreckers at Slacks Creek - south of Brissy, they deal with imports but you will get more for them selling privately.
