Spring rates

Anybody know what spring rates the '91 RS250 forks have? WHat would you recommend upgrading it to for a light rider on an NSR?

Wrench said that the VTR1000 springs fit, so I'm thinking of getting these:

Hung,
is that with the RS forks on a street (heavy) NSR, or on an RS? There is a very large difference in weight, there!

Yes, I was using VTR1000 (Superhawk) springs in my conventional style RS forks (41mm's from a 1989 RS). The Hawk springs are a little different length, but you can just fab some spacers from PVC pipe to get them spaced right.

Nice to see you again, Julian! Where are you at now?
