My MC18 has a little bit of problem, maybe it a big problem but i'm not sure.. so here it goes.. when my 18 revs it is smooth only up to 4500 rpm, after that it kinda loose power and it kinda bloke itslelf like it was running only on one cylinder but when I just wait it out until it passess 6000 rpm, it returns to it's smoothness and give a hell of power up to the redline.. here is the condition of my bike.. its RC Valve servo is already disabled (Broken) and set to fully open.. does this affect the 4500 to 6000 rpm smoothness? or is it the jetting? because I dont need much power that I can get from the rc valve I just want smooth power delivery up to about 9000 rpm even though it's not that powerful cause i dont really race the bike.. what seems to be the problem? how can i solve this?
Quite an easy problem to solve by the sound of it.
Find out why the RC valves don't work. I suspect blown PGM. Then find out why the PGM blew. Dodgy servo, cables too tight, gummed up valves. Sort that out and then replace the PGM.
You'll probably get your smoothness back from idle to redline.
Failing that, manually close the valves halfway and see what happens. If it's more like you want then keep it like that and cruise around, safe in the knowledge that you're enjoying maybe only half of what the MC18 is all about.
is it posible that I have a blown PGM but it still starts everytime and I can still run it given the circumstances? how can I check if its the PGM or the Servo is broken?
