Hya,
I'm struggling to get the carbies sorted out and after a clean, and large filter to cope with a tank thats seen better days internally, i popped out the PJ's to find them blocked. After reading the tuning section, I soldered these babies up and dropped a couple of 180's in to see if the motor would clean up above 7000 but no, its much worse. Is there something else to be done to the PJ solenoids/pipework when bypassing the PJ's themselves?

Whats the definitive RCvalve setting procedure? is it to setup ignition off with actuator at high and finger up the pipe?

Any tips for dealing with a crappy tank other than buying new?
Waiting on mick coming over to check it out hopefully when he gets back from oop north...
Thanks in advance.. Smile

Just been examining the pipework again, can some one tell me where the 3 outlet elbow should connect to from the inner PJ solenoid? The outer solenoid feeds the y branch, is the 3 supposed to feed up into the airbox or connect to the rhs breather from the carb?
Its assembled the way I picked it up which probably isnt correct I'm guessing..

Well, that'l explain the sh1te running, the rh carb breather was connected to the t that should be in the airbox. Will run it again today and see if the 180 mains work.
