I talked to the owner and he said $12k is the reserve. I wonder if he'll get it. I was also thinking that at 24K kms its about time for some motor work.

That is absurd. I think the bidding won't get half way up there. My Rothman MC28 is twice the bike in both handling and power and it costs less.

That is about what I was thinking, But I was only willing to offer $4,500, which is more than I can afford right now. If I spend $10+ on anything it will be an RC30 or 1098.

12k is way too much. Kevin Murray had an all original one for $5500. Not too sure if he still has it though.

Sounds like we all agree on the about what it is worth. What do you think about the mileage? Anything to be concerned with? Where is this one for $5,500.

As with all discontinued stuff, it's worth what someone will pay for it, saying whatever is a better bike is irrelevent.

A 5 year old Toyota MR2 is a better car in every measureable way than an E type Jag, faster, better handling, more reliable, more economical etc and is worth about 10 times less.

Or a bit closer to home, I regularly get offered more for my '28 than anyone gets for a '21....
