The races

Well I have done my first race at last, was'nt to sure what to expect but it was fun. This round had 4 races in f3 and included GP 125's boy they are fast, just blew me away how fast those 125's are!.We had about 22 bikes on the grid.Race 1,bad start but got going into the first bend and made up a few places at the bend onto the back straight my mate loses the back end and slides across the track on his bum whoa!.The back straight at Pukekohe is about 900 meters long and the NSR was toping out just into the red at 12,000 rpm,i'am runing standard front cog and 38 tooth rear maybe I should go down another tooth?.Anyway finished 9th.Race 2 bad start then went motorcrossing but mannaged to stay on the bike, mud every place you can think! finished out of the points 15th.Race 3 bad start but much better ride was having some clearance probs hitting right foot peg, exhaust and fairing on the deck on the bends so put the comp up a quater turn on the back no difference but it made me feel better finnished 7th.Race 4 bad start but good ride mannaged to get past an sv 650 on the hair pin on the last lap mannaged 5th place. So it seems I have some work to do on the suspension the bike can keep up with most of the bikes bar the 450's,tuned 400's and better riders.Next race in 3 weeks time.See ya
