Inlet manifolds

Thu Sep 09, 2004 7:36 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi everyone,

Lets hope you follow this, On the MC18 the reed stuffers are part of the inlet manifold where as on the 21 the are a removable plastic part. This means i cant fit the HRC stuffers that Tyga sell for the MC21. Does anyone know if i can fit the reeds and manifold from a 21 to the 18?

Cheers Stephen

PS im still looking for a dry clutch bottom end (complete with clutch) for an MC18.

Matt Patterson, TYGA Performance, says:

"Yes they fit, but you'll need the MC21 insulator as well, or just hack off
the little tongues that stick into the MC18 reed valves.

MC21 insulator is the better bet as I've seen some rather average hacking
off done in a previous life and sealing was compromised.... not pretty."

See, if we don't know the answer, we'll do our best to find out!! :)

Andy.
