Possibly a gudgeon against barrel problem ?

Joking.
Its either fuel or spark. One of the carbs might of had something go amiss, and its running on one carb. Might explain lack of power, but no major or obvious problem

Dude,
Had a very similar problem with my MC11 on it's first ride out post-crash (the crash was near you neck of the woods, on the A640 at the back of Scammonden going towards Huddersfield).

It kept losing power after a good thrash. One cylinder was clearly dropping out as every now and again it would kick back in. Luckily this only started to happen within 1/2 mile of home.

Might be related, but then again might not as the MC11 and MC21 share nothing except the v-twin configuration and nikosil cylinder plating.

I think on mine it is most probably fuelling. I haven't stripped the airbox or carbs since it went down the road, so it could have either eaten the filter element or knocked some of the sediment out of the botton of the carb and blocked the jet. Alternatively, it could be the ATAC valve as it is the front pot that is cutting out.

Haven't had time to check it out yet, probably get round to it one night in the week or next weekend. I'll post what was wrong when I find out.

All the best

Sad
Sorry dude I got a lift (from M62 J30!!) in today so I can't stop on my way home, shame really........

Still working on some contacts for a job for you if I can find them, I think it is the agencies that are taking on right now

Your "private road" wasn't the A62 to Marsden by any chance????? (Don't expect an answer to this one, "take the fifth!")

If it is be careful, as you approach Marsden there is a speed camera near the 30 limit sign, and the police sometimes speed trap before and after too. (But I'm guessing you know that already)

Used to live in Huddersfield, that's how I know the A62 and A640....... is the big "STOP" snow warning sign still at the bottom of the hill on the way out of Oldham on the A62 before you start the main climb?

All the best
