mc21 vs mc28 petcock fuel tap

want to replace my mc28 petcock / fuel tap. did a search and found many answers pointing to part # 16950-MWO-790. but this is for the mc21... will this work for my mc28?

KV3 is generic NSR. I think you will find that (A) ruff rider is looking for an alternative to the KV3 part, and (B) has found posts with a reference to an MW0 part that can be adapted.

MW0 is the model designation for the CBR900RR Fireblade.

That was my post, I'm using that valve on my MC21, only had to cut the brass tube to the same length as the NSR's and it worked. Bought thru Honda in USA. Don't see why it wouldn't work for a MC28.

Think mine is CBR400 but don't know the part #
The plastic "knob" was shorter so I installed the NSR one.
