Hi, does anyone know if it is still possible to get a new CDI unit for an MC16, correct me if i'm wrong but is there two, one to control each cyclinder.

I bought one new from the local Honda dealer last year for about £110 .

You are correct, there are 2, one for each cylinder.

They do pop up on e-bay from time to time for alot less but there is no saying it won't go fizz within 500 miles ( or 10,000, pay your money, take your chance)

Just take the part numbers (which will be on your CDI's and are in the parts manual anyway) into any Honda dealer, they'll have been deleted by Honda by now but if there are any left in stock they'll be able to get them.
