This happened on a really cold day here in san diego. Not used to it being this cold here. The jets were suited for warmer temps.plus ive been fackin with the jets lately also. prolly my mistake. fix it and learn...its the only way. ;)
I work very hard on keeping the image quality high, but page loading times low, so the [IMG] feature is restricted just in case a DSL user uploads a 1Mb bitmap in a few seconds that bogs down a dial-up modem for 10 minutes!! ;)
I will talk to Charles and see if it's possible to allow registered users to post images; that may be an answer.
I just looked at changing the code in your post to point to their respective URL's instead, but apparently the images are unavailable!
I only want to allow links to photos, and not actually photos as part of the message, that get uploaded to the server. This will reduce the amount of disk spaced used on the domain.
But this should work, no?
It's using the img tag, and uses an image that I have out on my other server, so NSR250.net doesn't get filled up with people posting images to the message board.
of course, if I ever move, or delete that image from it's current location, then the img tag will be broken, and the image won't display.
