hi there,
i have just bought my first Road Bike and decided to go for a NSR125, but there are a few problems and i wondered if anybody could give me any pointers,

firstly the Oil light is on constantly on the dash even though its full of both engine and 2 stroke oil,

The indicators do not flash they just stay dimly lit

and lastly the temperature guage does not move, no matter how hot the water gets.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello Rob, and welcome to the forum.

Your problem sounds like a classic bad electrical connection somewhere. I would be tracing all the earth (ground) points for a start.

Check each point on the frame for corrosion, and then pull each electrical plug in turn, and make sure the terminals are clean and tight. Spray them with some contact cleaner. (WD40 will do if you don't have contact cleaner.)
