Andy was that motofairings then?Looking at the actual feedback people are generally happy...also what can you expect for the price in fairness...the ad does say to be fitted by a pro and replica.

You get what you pay for usually pretty much sums it up... I don't think I even got that!

The bodywork I bought is like armour plating! Fit of the fairing was crap (had to carve acres out of the belly pan), the seat is lopsided and doesn't fit very well. The decal were wrong, even though I'd supplied the vector files for them, and I received the wrong fenders that were never replaced, even though the seller said he was sending some straight away.

I could go on... like runs in the clear-coat, marks in the paint where panels had been bublewrapped too soon or where they had been leant against a wall, debris in the clearcoat, and decals in different positions on the left and right sides. Basically piss-poor quality control.

I'd never buy from HK again, and will never encourage anyone to do so.

Up to you if you want to chance it.

No-one's ever prepared to learn from someone else's mistakes Mark.

While you are throwing money away, I have an old M-max box here somewhere you can have for £50 Bosch Man! Smile

NSR World the friendly forum!!! Shocked

A couple of guys on the RGV forum have bought the bodywork and been quite happy, bit of a gamble with the good/bad feedback but you can't buy unpainted bodywork for that money in the UK so I reckon its worth a punt.

Nice list of vehicles in your signature, I think of that as having as much sense as money but others will be negative about it.

The guy asked for an opinion, and it was offered. The opinion was obviously worthless, so why ask?

I'm an avid lurker, and it's only the pointless stuff that gets picked on in my opinion.

Oh, and yes, I am a bit jealous of the signature, but it's not the reason for my comment! Laughing

If a valuable opinion based on experience can be shot down, then so can the reply to it. Fair game I say! Smile

My thoughts exactly now. I made the mistake once... never again.

Yeah, it was cheap, but there was a lot of negotiation involved as I was actually trying to secure a cost effective custom service for NSR-WORLD readers, and agreements were made and not honoured. I would not trust them again and wouldn't encourage anyone else to either.

I will actually go as far as to say, I wouldn't be GIVEN another set of HK bodywork now. How's that? Confused
