Any idea why?

Hi!

I would like to ask what in your opinion i should do to fix this problem i have with my mc21.

So, when i open the throttle from fully closed softly, its ok but when i open it quickly it sounds like a hit.

It does it when its in motion no matter what gear i have and only when the throttle is opened quickly/aggresively.

It feels that there is space somewhere and produces this hit.

First i checked the chain but seems ok...

Then i went to my friend mechanic, he rode it and told me that he believes

that the cluch basket is responsible for this hit.

So we changed it with a used one in good condition which it was more tight

than mine when tried to turn it.

But the improvement was very small and basically the problem still remains...

I hope you understand my descriptions! Confused

Any advice would help, thanks!

What do you mean like a hit? If its a knocking sound from the front of the engine then its probly the big ends or mains....

It could be piston slap aswell or a shims not be replaced somewhere.

Can you tell what part of the engine it comes from? I doubt it would be the clutch.

are you sure its not pinking??
this often sounds like a metalic "hit" when blipping the throttle.have you played with the needles, ingnition timing or carb settings as this would cause it to pink if not set up right.

Yes its a knocking sound and i think i hear it from the left side of the motor but it is difficult to say...

Piston and barrels are new, stock bike and compression nice so i dont think

it has to do with this.

Maybe the rubbers that unite the motor with the chassis?

It does it only when riding and not on stand. In every gear, but now i

changed cluch basket it seems than in first gear doesnt do it so much like before.
