HRC have given it a whirl

The fact you can get over 70+ hp on a stocker means there isnt much need though.

Have you seen the http://www.ignitech.cz website - there is some interest on the RGV forum in this
http://www.ignitech.cz/english/dccdip2/dccdip2.htm

TPS, Powervalve controller, shift light and electronic powerjet control, all programmable for £100. You wouldn't get your pencil out to start designing your own at that price. I might get one when I have the money.

If you must design and build your own, see
http://www-staff.lboro.ac.uk/~elvpc/progs/progs.html and scroll down to DDIS which is a good start.

It’s a standard chip that’s used in lots of electrical equipment. I'll post a picture later when i get to my computer. My mates an electrical enthusiast and I took it to him and he read the info on the chip and played with it on the computer.

He also copy’s and reprograms the sealed units and builds his own custom ones. I think there is a previous topic on how to take them apart.

i'll ask him tonight how he done it i know he took the chip and copied it. he may have used a different chip when he put it back. there where bits of an old spectrum used at some point :/

The chips a standard chip used from the late 70's he told me or somthing.

He builds custom amplifiers for gigs btw and upgrades standard audio equipment so he knows more than me.

Im going to look at the CDI's tomorrow to see if he thinks its playable aswell.

He made me a CDI unit for my Honda gorilla as the ignition had no advance retard and i get much better response from her now and the top speed goes from 50mph to 65mph with a decent exhaust and carb.
