My guess would be 1,000 max, and that would be optimistic.

I'd half that, and I think that would be optimistic! Wink

I doubt there's even that many in the UK.

I know people think that there are a lot in California but it's the same bikes that I see for sale every few years. And when I think there is a new one that I haven't seen someone else says, "oh that was so and so's bike". I'm not saying it's that way 100% of the time but you get my drift.

Of course I'm only talking about the 28's, I don't really pay attention to those antique 21's. Laughing

Maybe we should start an NSR registry?

There is one already:

NSR Registry

It's way out of day, and very under-subscribed. Probably because it's not easily stumbled across.

Thanks Andy. Not too many entries on that list. Too much BS information.

Since your the keeper of all things NRS I think you need to start a better list. The only information needed is:

VIN/model/year

Owners name

Geographic area

Date purchased/sold

Known previous owners/history

We sort of have a thread a bit like that, with the "What NSR do you own" topic.

We could do a topic called "NSR Registry", make it "sticky", and make sure it is kept the same as the opening format. That would work while I sorted a form or something like the one I posted a link to.

I was thinking something more along the lines of a data base so information could be grouped and sorted. So when somebody wants to know: "how many NSRs are in the US", he can get the answer. Registries are also a way of tracking owner history and where the vehicle has been.
