Sorry to bring back an old topic but after finding this and the link on Tyga's site, I still wanted to make sure I was headed in the right direction before I put things back together.
So... to correctly measure float height, per Tyga's instructions, you need to set the carbs at 90 degrees to make sure the float piston is not compressed? As in, do not measure the height of the floats when fully extended right? I gather the point of the 90 degree position is just to make sure the floats are extended as far out without engaging the piston so you could actually do this manually by moving the float until you see the piston engage too?
Glad the diagram helped. I drew it (whilst sober, before Matt comments on the time of the post!) from memory, but I think it's fairly accurate. _________________ Andy.
