My fuel cap is mangled so I am buying the Cap and lock set. Will any key work in my PGM card. It looks like its just held in the card with a spring clip, not actualy doing anything there ? Just want to be sure ..thanks

The key is just kept in the card to keep it in a place where you know where to find it ,it serves no purpose in the ignition system of the bike .The replacement cap with key does not useally have the same shaped key as the honda original which made up the corner of the card .
