I have an NSR250R mc16 that i have been using to race. After being beaten by another nsr, figured it was down on some horse power. Anyway we pulled it apart to find a bit missing off the top of the piston which had bounced around the barrel for some time.

So what's the best thing to do-

1. have the barrel repaired and buy new pistons or
2. do the barrels off the mc18 fit the mc16? If so what other parts should i change?

1. get new pistons and rings. replace the barrel
2.yes they do, but get the MC18 power vlaves as well as there is a difference in the size

Do you know anyone in Australia thats good to buy parts off for NSR's? New and used?

try southerncross sports or Victorian Motorcycle Wreckers or City Motorcycle Wreckers. A google search should get their websites. I've also used David Silver Spares out of the UK.

Greg Jetnikoff here. I spoke to you and the lady I think last race. I am going to buy all of Dan's stuff and currently intend to do up the mc21's instead of the 18 I have.
