Hey has any one used the JHA/VHM cylinder heads.They look like they are onto the right track.They would be great for setting up squish on the nsr for some extra hp.
They are an awful lot of money for that extra ponnie, why not just find yuorself a good tuner and they will know what to do, most machine a brass ring in for anti detenation and fill the heads and re cut them, and a much better price as well. Second hand nsr heads with damage are a lot cheaper to start with.
www.apexleisure.co.uk are the UK dealers for VHM and have been using them for ages on the NSR's they've done. Depending on the model and what gas you are using they add anywhere from 5-8bhp. The main advantage is that you never need to buy another head again if you have a seizure and the piston/piston rings hit the head. All you do is buy a new insert, much cheaper in the long run although more expensive to buy in the first place.
