Clearing crank of raw fuel

Sun Dec 23, 2007 10:31 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Greetings,

My first problem with my MC11, and my first post here.
I forgot to shut the fuel off. One of the carbs flowed lot's of fuel into the vertical cylinder. It completely filled the cylinder with fuel over a long time period. It's the rainy season here.

I pulled the plugs and rotated the engine through, but it still has quite a bit of raw fuel in there.

Is there a crank drain on this engine? I spun it through fairly briskly, and pumped quite a bit of fuel out, but am concerned about trying to fire it up while it's still fairly wet.

Any tips and tricks?

CJ
