Andy's Noodle and Jeff's MC18 in PB...

Sat Jan 05, 2008 5:07 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Looking really good fella's Cool . No track action shots of the smokers wrestling with the big fours, but it was a bit too damp for the kind of photogenic heroics mag's like really. Terrific to see the strokers in the mag though. Mine is subscription so comes a bit earlier I think. I think it's on the shelves next Tuesday though. Nice 4 page spread on the Llandow day. Buying it might even encourage them to do more stroker stuff...

Cheers

Nah, I think it's his old man's really, and it was the old boy who was riding it (slowly - he's not very well at the moment I understand). The young lad was riding the Priller 125 race bike (rather quicker). I think the young lad would have been hard to catch on the 500 Shocked

Got my copy today. Didn`t even open it until I read this thread.

Well done boys, good pic`s.

I`m jealous of that 3XV Wayne! You should have a race on it this year, at least once!

Lol. I'm Warwick, Chester, not Wayne (If it was me you were addressing - I don't think Wayne with the pretty Marlboro pops in here at all - he's setting up a website though: http://www.lc350.co.uk/index.htm). My own 3XV was the frankly shockingly grotty one with the half road rash, half primer 'paint-job' Embarassed Laughing.

I was thinking about dragging mine out for a race or two next year in fact, but am currently embroiled in an on/off house move, so can't commit just now. Hopefully get a few trackdays in though.

Cheers

Just downloaded the PDF's and had a read! Very Happy

Not quite as much coverage as hoped, but then again I expect space in the magazine is rather expensive! A little artistic/journalistic license in the write-up, but hey, it's two-strokes in probably the world's leading bike mag! Very Happy

Shame it says www.nsr-world.co.uk! Confused

Looks like I`ve cocked-up anyway. I thought it was NSRWayne, Jeff`s sidekick, who owned the thing! I really should pay more attention! Embarassed

Anyway Warwick, you should do at least one race on both the 3MA & the 3XV. The F250 mob should be pleased, pretty much would cover all of the missing machines.

Yeah, I would quite like to have a wobble round really - just for the experience of it - but it doesn't look as though it will be this year unfortunately. It'll be the odd trackday only by the look of things Crying or Very sad

Fame at last, eh, Jeff? Did he ask for an Autograph? Laughing I love the nice, clean simplicity of the tracker 18 BTW. Really smart.
