mc18 seized engine

ill be benching my mc18 engine this weekend. DIY again Shocked
here's the problem havent used the bike for two weeks, yesterday i did some warm up and decided to stroll it around. suddenlly a noise came from the engine(i cant describe it, but its bad) then it stalls. kick it then it ran again and the noise is gone but a few meters it stalls and can no longer be kick start, the starter is stocked. im thinking of a sticked rings but i checked the autolube and its working properly and im planning to dismantle the engine this weekend i would like to ask for your opinions on what had just happened.
rings? or connecting rod? or any expert opinion? TIA

does it free off when you pull the bike back in gear so the engine turns backwards. it could be a brocken ring stuck ina transfer port or somthing that csn be remidied by just tacking the barrels off
