Powerjet screw - Soft metal

The powerjet screw seems really soft and feels like it's going to shear off!

Anyone had any similar experience with this?

Yep, I think they are made of cheese, you need a really tight fitting screwdriver bit. I ended up having to drill and easy out one of mine to get it out.

Perfect fitting screw driver and a sharp tap from the hammer. Gets them every time.

Pretty sure that Honda told Keihin to make them from the finest Cheddar Alloy to keep people like us from fiddling.

What should I use as a replacement when it's turned into shrapnel?

Looks like there isn't a part number for a replacement on my Honda part book. Rang Lings Honda and they confirmed, unless someone knows different.....
