Can you not convert to a MC21 ignition set up? I am sure there are people on here who can help you.

TBH the smart card thing seems like a daft idea to me, as I understand it the HRC one only works with the HRC loom anyway so what is the point. Bit of a gimmick if you ask me.

Essentially yes, but you'd lose this and this which is about 90% of the mc28's reason for existing.

The HRC card works with the stock loom if you splice 3 wires (low oil, neutral and side stand down) to earth, you lose the sidestand light and with the HRC card the display can't show neutral or low oil anyway. In fact all the display shows with the HRC card is a massive temperature readout, which of course is all you want to know.

The conversion would be pretty major - loom, dash, CDI, ign barrel, fork yoke, flywheel.....

have you tried the japanese okshon website? I've been getting my mc 16/18 parts from there. Have even managed a nos MC18 cylinder Razz

Okshon works but PGMIV's will still be big big big money, the card on it's own is useless.
There's one on there now (link here) bet it goes for a lot more than that.
Reckon on it costing 50-100% extra (over the finish price) to get it here and tax paid. Maybe a bit less as a PGM will be expensive and light/cheap to ship.

Melvin hi...

I am sure that I have one PGM IV unit spare... I also sold one the other day on eBay... But I don't think that I have one with two card keys... I will have to travel to the next city (40Km from my town) where my warehouse is located and check it out... (To be honest this isn't my warehouse but it belongs to the Racing Team that I am Racing Supermoto with)...
I will be propably go today in the afternoon or tomorrow... I will let you know as soon as possible...
