Just got my new properly sized Very Happy Battlax's mounted and was wondering what everyone is running for tire pressure at the track.

At Pukekohe and Taupo i was running 30psi front and rear, the tyre was balling up but not heavily. The front was med compound as was the rear. Good grip and no slides.

30 is what I usually start at but the Michelins I was running ran 23 rear. How can I tell what compound? I was not asked when I ordered. It is not stated as soft med or hard. Is there a compound code?
