Torque on cylinders

Sat Feb 21, 2004 1:48 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

How do some of you out there torque the cylinder nuts? I was looking at the engine rebuild from jamie's page & saw the box wrench w/ the torque wrench technique. Is that the only way? I will be putting my engine back together soon after the oil injecter line prolem I had. I guess I was the problem!!! My dumba#* forgot to hook them up. Evil or Very Mad This will be the first time I will be doing this work so any other advise would help.

Thanks for the work you guys have put into this great site.

Sean

Sean,

The torque adapter is used only for one nut (the one under the power valve shaft). All other nuts you can get with a standard socket/torque wrench.
