MC16 starting issues

Mon Jun 16, 2008 1:46 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi All

I've a MC16 which starts easy enough, however it only fires on the front cylinder for about 30 secs and then the rear cyclinder kicks in. Any ideas as to why?

Cheers

Had the same thing on my old 16. Never worried about it as it ran spot on after that. I fitted new plugs, CDI, coil and cleanded carbs over the time i had it, but still it started on one Cylinder if left for a few weeks. I did wonder if it was a bit low on compression on that cylinder, but it made good power on the Dyno. Confused
