Sounds like it could be a very expensive exercise if you are not careful!
I strongly recommend sourcing a 1996 workshop manual (they are in dual-language Japanese/English format) as it is extremely comprehensive. It will advise you on everything from chassis setup, ignition setting, and carburetion... even how to correctly install the motor!
An HRC RS250 NX5/NXA is a world apart from any 2-stroke road bike, and setup (even spark plugs) is absolutely critical to not only its performance, but also it's longevity.
Honestly, no offence meant, but if you are asking whether it needs different plugs for different weather conditions, then I suggest you seriously consider a manual before firing it up again! _________________ Andy.

I stick with the stock plug unless I am using the detonation counter, in which case I run the stock temp plug, but a longer reach body to accommodate the detonation ring. _________________ Charles Gallant
as has already been mentioned, the R6120 series plugs are replaced with R7282
So you can get R7282-105 for the standard plug.
Being your in the UK, check with Ian Emberton (http://www.iane.co.uk). I am sure he has some in stock, or can point you in the right direction. _________________ Charles Gallant
