Scott V. is having trouble with his internet connection so asked me to ask for specific recommendations for gear box oil for a dry clutch engine that is used only for racing. Fully synthetic I'm sure, but what weight and brand?

Scott will thank you I'm sure for any help with this once he able to rejoin us.

I may be wrong, but I don't think there are different weights available for the synthetic transmission oil suitable for our compact transmissions... certainly not in the brands I have used anyway.

I use Rockoil GRO, but that may not be avialable to you locally.

Another good transmission oil which I would have no hesitation in using, more likely available to you, is Silkolene PRO SRG 75.
