Hi,
Measure the difference in the offset of the new fork/yokes compared with the origonals,
This is the measurment between the center of the steering stem and the center of the fork leg.
If the replacements have a smaller measurment then the trail will be increased and this will slow the steering and make the bike stable at high speeds, If this is less be very carful the bike may turn in very fast and become unstable at hight speeds, and be prone to tank slappers. ( the wider front tyre will also make it turn in quicker......
look at this

and do the math.
They may look good but the benafits are very small , spend the money on having the Honda forks re valved and sprung, and invest in a good rear shock and the very best tyres you can get.
If you want sharper turn in increase the rear ride hight and drop the forks through the yokes 10mm.
Hope this helps.

This has been discussed in depth several times. Do a search for 'offset' then look at the 'Question for maxim' topic. All you need to know. _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
Not to dissuade you of course, if you can then why not?
Just don't expect the handling to get much better than a properly rebuilt standard SP setup. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

If it is actually an '87, then the best thing for it really is a set of '90~ SE/SP forks/calipers/wheel/discs. They are a direct fit, and can be rebuilt and set up for minimal cost.
The best setup, if you can get it, is a 1991 RS250 front-end with MC18/MC21/MC28 triple clamps.
A 130 section tyre will doubtlessly destroy the handling. _________________ Andy.
