Choke Switch

On my 93 MC21SP..the choke cable and lever is missing..I know to start a cold bike..the choke is required..also..there are 2 plastic looking bottles in front of the carbs on top of the intake boots? I don't have the plastic bottle on my MC18? are these like boost bottles that Yamaha RZ350's have for full throttle performance?? and do I need to install the choke lever and cable..I think because a Tyga fairing was installed..The mounting tab for the choke lever is gone...haven't started the bike yet so I don't know if the choke is required..I would asume it would be needed..every bike I have owned need the choke to start when cold

You don't need the bottles, you can blank them off, but you do need the choke.
