Anyone know the official (if any) specs for the NSR dry clutch? Looking for dimensions such as:
Friction plate min. thickness and tab width
Steel plate min. thickness and flatness
Clutch basket wear limits
Total clutch pack thickness
I believe my clutch is close to failing and I am interested to see what the specs are from Honda. Any info is appreciated! _________________ Andre E. Benguerel

I think Honda still also sells the dry clutch hub & basket (if those are worn), P/Ns can be found in the online parts manual.
I have a brand new rebuild kit, when i get chance I can measure the thickness of the clutch plates. _________________ Rich

I've got a kit coming from Tyga. Just curious if this was a spec or not for the NSR. The clutch on my Ducati is very particular on how it's set up and the wear limits so it's something I keep an eye on. Probably over-thinking it!
No need to measure. Guess I'll just ride it until it slips!

In all seriousness, for OEM plates your Honda and Duke are probably worlds apart in terms of quality, which is why your nsr plates will have a far broader operational tolerance than the ducati ones. I was speaking to a guy at AP racing recently I used to work with, and he was telling me about the different specs between an aston martin clutch and a honda clutch he'd worked on, and we were talking vanquish vs. civic here. They had such a nightmare meeting Honda specs that eventually a team from Honda R&D ended up coming to the UK to oversee the production set-up! Just for a Civic... _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...

Even worse, I actually have an STM Evo 48t slipper clutch which has even a higher spec than the Ducati OEM pieces. Good point though!
Like my buddy Tom says, "just shut up and ride..."
