I intend to go along, but not to ride the track. I've been there testing and don't like it much - too short for my liking! That and I'm a racer so get a bit frustrated when on track with novices - I have to ride slow and careful and that kinda defeats the object!

Dave, you are just a hero!! :D

Stephen, 2-strokers are the real enthusiasts, and real enthusiasts won't mind an RC45 turning up... especially one tricked out like yours!

Let's face it, if you can own a 120hp RC45 and still enjoy the virtues of an MC18, who's going to argue with that?!!! :)

Don't expect it to be allowed on the track though - it's one thing to bring a trick 4-stroke to a 2-stroke track day, but a whole different matter when you come to try and fire it up!!

Best thing to do is e-mail A1 Trackdays direct about places.

Andy.

Thanks for that andy, I will email him as soon as i find out if my freind Bill is willing to come up with me (we can use his van that way). As for the MC18, I love to ride it even after the RC45. Ive done Donington a few times on the RC and it does get to be a handful.. the NSR is just so easy.. makes me grin so big Very Happy

Heh heh. Not really, but having raced for three years, and done a bunch of trackdays, I must admit riding with others who aren't racing gets boring at best and scary at worst.

Racing has spoiled track day riding for me I must admit, as there's not the buzz you get when 8 guys are all after same piece of tarmac, and it'd be unfair to go grabbing the inside line from someone on a roadbike when you know they aren't expecting it.

Maybe it'll be better cuz there'll only be two stroke nutters there!

Well, we'll try and get as many pictures as possible, and then someone with a little more journalistic instinct than myself can hopefully write an article!

It should be fun watching all the tuned RD hand-grenades with their "hair pins"!! Laughing

I think it'll be a great day out, as the RD guys never let you down!

Andy.
