Hi guys, tried to do a search on this, but no luck.
I'm in the process of getting my MC16 up and running, it looks like the guy before me brought some MC21 carbs for this bike (I brought it in bits) and now i am trying to figure out where all the hosing goes. (pity he has thrown out most of the hoses)
Does anyone have a pic of the carbs so I can see where the hoses go?
The MC16 uses dinky 28mm non power jet carbs, so if they have been replaced with MC18 (or later) carbs, then I would be inclined to start with jetting similar to standard for the carbs you are fitting, i.e. NOT MC16 jetting. _________________ Andy.

No luck as yet, no one can seem to give me a straight answer on weather these carbs will run without the powerjets. Plus no work has been done on the bike due to family reasons.
So it looks like I have to get jets from Australia as I haven't found any suppliers here in NZ.
It's a slow build, but I'm in no hurry. Cheers for asking though, when I do sort this out I'll let you know Mark.
Cheers
Just an update on my carbs, I've blanked the power jets and I am just waiting on some main jets to arrive. I also did some searching here and found out that I should put some jets in the solenoid lines to restrict airflow.
Plus I made a boo boo on what type my carbs are, they're MC18 carbs TA21 not TA22.
Then I've just gotta get my TYGA mufflers and I can fire her up.
Hi, I'm doing a similar convertion on my spare MC16 engine. You say you are putting jets in the solenoid lines, I thought you just had to blank off the power jets?
