The fuel tap on my MC16 is leaking.

Ive done some rooting through the forum and see that an early CBR900RR fuel tap should fit.
My question is; does anyone know if the repair kit for the 900 could be used to fix the tap on the NSR?

on mine i just drilled out the rivets that hold the tap together, took it apart and replaced the rubber o ring with one from a halfrauds multi pak and then just replaced the rivets with a couple of small bolts/nuts.

I did wonder if something like that was possible...but obviously I didnt want to do anything drastic right away because at least the tap kind of works just now!
