Clutch adjustment?

Sat May 02, 2009 11:42 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Just put a new Honda couch cable on the 21 and with a nice feel in the lever and a little left for fine tuning at the lever end the cable is right at the end of it's adjustment at the pulley end.

Does this mean my plates are about done? Or something more sinster?

Cheers

Which end do you mean Billy?

If the nuts on the engine side of the adjuster are close to the end where the cable comes out thats better than them being closer to the steel elbow.

Yep that's what I have, I would have thought there would have been some adjustment left in the cable, basically if I want to adjust the cable as it stretches over time the only place I can do it now is at the lever end.

Suppose the best thing to do is get some pics next time I have my belly pan off.

Cheers Steve
