Penske shocks

Sat Jun 27, 2009 12:38 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Looking into upgrading my 21/ 28 hybrid suspension (21 bike with 28 swingarm/ rear end). I'm about 235-240 lbs, and the stock suspension really doesn't like me much. Looking to do some track days. Anyhow, talked to the guys at Traxxion Dynamics in Georgia, USA. They can custom make a new adjustable (ride height, rebound, high speed damping) Penske to your specs for less than $800. They can also rework the forks as needed, including their Axxion system, springs, etc. Price of that depends on level of options/ service, of course. Granted, $800 bones is a lot of money, but thought I'd throw it out here as an FYI as I'm not finding many options especially for the shock. Dan and Mike are the guys to talk to there. Oh, there is a higher level of Penske which adds low speed damping control, but its a few hundred dollars more). These guys worked my TL1000S front end and I bought a Bitubo shock for the rear end of it, and they both worked wonders. VERY good reputation.
