I have a new bike..

Well it seems like it, I fitted my refreshed suspension from k-tech, new SP1 calipers, drilled my airbox and fitted my new pipes.

Fontyyy came round so I raided his stock of jets and he fettled my carbs.

Didn't go on a long run as I have to space the fairings over the pipes but the way it now handles, stops and goes it's like a completely diferent bike it's awesome.

£395 for full refresh on the forks and shock including getting the forks rechromed, standard springs all round.

That sounds great Monkey, but I thought K Teck didn't touch NSR shocks anymore. Maybe business is slow!!

The SP1 calipers are a must add-on if you have MC28 forks (or fork bottoms) I had some fitted to an old track bike along with a GSXR radial M/C and braided line. Man were those brakes strong.

Any pictures??

K-tech have always done NSR shocks, they did mine a couple of years ago Fontyyys recently and mine the other day...and with the 3 1/2 week wait buisness is far from slow LOL.

Pics will follow as soon as I have spaced the bodywork to go over the pipes, TBH the gold calipers look shocking rank against the gold Magteks.

White wheels for me this winter......

I spoke with Maxton this morning about refreshing my RS250 (NF5) forks and shock.

£105 for the forks inc new seals
£ 70 for the rear shock (although seals can't be bought apparently)

All the above doesn't include re valving or new springs. To do that costs £300.

thats cheap....the reason mine was so pricey is they had to split the forks right down to bare bones to fit the bottoms and rechrome the fork legs.
