hi all, my mc 18 neutral light works some times,no pattern,any ideas,its not the bulb or holder

Have a look at the neutral light switch connector.

Its on the sproket side just under and to the front of the sprocket.

If its loose thats your problem.

If its not take the connector off and earth it to the crank cases. With the ignition on the neutral light should stay lit. If it does then you need a new switch.
