I almost rebuilding the MC21 I bought a little over a year ago. The problem I am having is that the neutral light is coming on when I am in 5th or 6th gear instead of when in neutral.

I did the GPS wire splice.

Can the GPS be installed 180 degrees off?

Or what can the problem be?

When you install the GPS into the crank cases its possible to misaline the loctating pin and bend it.

This will of course mean it reads neutral when infact it isnt and read the wrong gears.

I'd remove the GPS and check its location and the condition of the locating pin.
