Took the MC21 to Deals Gap and surrounding area this weekend. 600km in about 36 hours. Bike did great, so now I can concentrate on making her "purty" (pretty/ look good/ clean her up).
Question: I got about 22-25 mpg throughout the trip. Seems VERY excessive to me. Lots of running around 7k rpm.
What is a "typical" mpg figure for similar bikes?
I also think its running too much oil through the injectors. Going to have a run or two on a local dyno, just as a baseline. Then will start tweaking and tuning from there.
Just curious.
Thanks

Jeff, I'm getting mid 30's on my 28. I thought I was getting wild milage until I realized I needed to convert from metric.
