MM,

Wow! You have opened up a whole new world for me! I will take a look!

Sir, I am also trying to find a Honda "Monkey R" front hub. Would you know how to find one of those?

Have a look through this lot, the G'craft are billet hence the price:

My local Nankai store has a huge section for monkey/ape/dio etc...

Heading there today so will also ask about hubs too.

Your Offer to Help with Yahoo Japan

Moriwaki-man

Thanks for trying to help. What I wanted the NSR50 forks for was to mount disc brakes on a ZB50 (U.S. version of Monkey R). This is why I need ed the hub too.

Last night I ended up buying the whole bike instead of building one from parts. Here it is:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250490839955&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT

However, I will need some other parts from Japan for this bike like an exhaust. Have you ever heard of M Racing exhausts? I hink they are custom made.

Thanks,
-Todd

Hi Todd,

Like your easy way out Laughing

Confirmed with Honda factory yesterday that the front hubs are no longer made and no aftermarket maker Shocked

If you have a link for that maker fire it up as I done a search and only found car tuners for Honda.

This will be your best buddy:

http://www.takegawa.co.jp/webcatalog08/book1/#57

Very few makers list a specific exhaust for the R but Yoshimura, Takegawa & Over Racing, Stainless or Ti pipework.

Have a look through this lot

http://zerocustom.jp/?mode=cate&cbid=251747&csid=2

I supose if your good you could adopt a standard Monkey system on - there are some funky twin pipe systems.

Here is a picture of the pipe I am looking for .

honda50s.com imports these and says they are hand made. They are pretty expensive and I am looking for alternatives just for comparison.

Couldn't find anything like that - if you link the page you got that image from I'll have a look.

BTW, not the imageshack one but the website it lists it on.
