Float valves from David Silver are £26 each!! Is that a good price? Because it seems expensive for something the size of a grain of rice????

It would probably be beneficial to our non-UK members to quote the prices in a form they can understand.

For our friend in Lebanon:

£26 and £70 is approximately US$42.50 and US$115 respectively.

A few capital letters and a little puctuation would be nice as well......

ac1507, quid is slang for pound, "squid" is what the word actually ends up sounding like sometimes, so gets used as well.
Presuming you speak English well, try it;

"twenty six quid" when spoken sounds exactly the same as "twenty sic squid"

See?
