nothing like a blackbox Smile

Can you open it in anyway, shape or form? I'm guessing it's an RC circuit and that's it.

How does the RC valve handle being powered by it (any change in performance)?

Me first! Very Happy

It's got so many bits on it it looks like he locked it in a Magical Racing showroom and threw a hand grenade in with it! Laughing

Will it start with an eliminator ?

I was wondering if it will start when you only have a capacitor there. Mine has difficulties starting as soon as the battery is a little low. So I replaced the big battery with a small 1.2Ah. Saves 1kg and works a treat.

It's an RC circuit, the resistor provides a load to the reg/rec so things work well. You just need to kick a few times (or roll start) to build up enough charge in the capacitor for it to work Smile

I personally think you will have more trouble than you think with it. As Poul says, the PGM needs a good charge to activate the RC circuit. Even an RS and an F-III has a small battery pack.

I found a couple of horse by fitting a new battery so I'm not uttery convinced that you can do without one.
